How it is done?
Renovations in 3 weeks instead of 3 months!
By combining new technologies in the fields of modular and traditional building techniques, we can let you have your new home renovations much quicker than you thought possible, and without the mess and fuss you’d normally expect.
By fabricating the modules in our own purpose-built workshop, we can achieve better quality control and shorten the traditional process considerably. In effect, we do the entire renovation offsite, then after a little preparation at the customer’s home, we then crane the modules into place on the customers home. All that remains then is just for us to install the staircase and a few finishing touches.
Our Modular Renovations technique is without doubt a safer choice for your loved ones. As well as minimizing the amount of hassle, the time spent working onsite, and the overall time taken to complete the renovation, choosing Nexus Home Improvements will dramatically reduce the risk to your family and property.
The comparison of builders’ time spent onsite [link to relevant sub-page] emphatically shows the Safety aspects of choosing Nexus Home Improvements Modular Techniques over traditional building methods. With conventional building, workers are continually carrying and lifting heavy items around in the ceiling of your family home. By contrast, Nexus Home Improvements carry out nearly all of the work in a controlled environment, in their own workshop, away from your home and family: a far safer way to go, especially if you have young children.
After an initial inspection of your home by our Management Team, we develop the plans to your requirements, and once you’re happy we carry out all the building and fitting-out in our yard in Cockburn Central. There’s no mess and no inconvenience in your own home.
We take care of everything, from initial design to council approvals, final engineer’s drawings and of course, building the modules, fixing them into place and – finally – completing the structure.
When the modules are nearly complete, we will visit your home to prepare the roof and a few days later our team will arrive and the completed modules are lowered into place by crane.
After that, there’s just a little bit of finishing work to do inside the house – things like installing the staircase. Your home will only be disrupted for a few days, not months like you would have previously expected.
Then all you have to do is move in the furniture – and maybe the kids!
Our home improvements are finished to the highest standards, and of course that includes quality insulation far exceeding the minimum standards.
We’re proud to say, we are the first company to have brought this new technology to West Australia. As registered builders ourselves with many years of experience, we were quick to realise the advantages of the new, modular system which has been in use for many years in Europe and North America.
